The entry may contain any subject matter which you deem interesting to the wider community.
All submissions must be in by midnight Sunday 22nd of July. Entries received after this closing date will not be accepted.
Entrants must only submit blog posts that are their own original work. Any evidence of plagiarism may result in the entrant being removed from the competition.
Blogs need to be submitted in either Word document or Youtube video format.
The winners will be calculated using analytics data collected on the blogs, as well as retweets of official posts and posts by the blogger. The full methodology will be made available after the event and the full analysis will be available in a session at MeasureCamp 13.
All data collected will only be used in direct relation to the competition.
Email addresses will not be shared however all optional fields, like name, will be used for promotional purposes.
MeasureCamp will promote blog entries via our official channels, email, social etc. Every attempt will be made to be fair to all blogs regardless of writer.
The definition of “professional blogger” and “amateur blogger” will depend on where your content appears as well as your declaration. Your total online following will be used if there is a grey area.
You may submit blogs anonymously however you cannot win the competition without providing an email address.
Measurecamp will take a dim view of any attempts to cheat the system by passing off a professional blog as an amateur blog. Trust us – we will find out…
While any topic or content may be submitted, any offensive content will be disqualified. This is at the discretion of the committee.
Blog entries should be by individuals and follow the MeasureCamp ethos of no selling.
By entering the competition, entrants agree to these terms and conditions. Failure to comply with these terms and conditions may result in disqualification.
