If you are interested in how R can improve your daily work and reduce the time you spend doing the same tasks over and over again such as reporting, then this is the class for you!
Ideally, you have tried basic things in R such as leveraging the Google Analytics API, made a few calculations etc. but this is not a demand, as this will be for beginners.
In this class we will be going through:
Doing simple calculations and combining datasets
Pulling data down from a Google Sheet
Adding data to a Google sheet
Building automated reports in R markdown with custom visualizations
Scheduling R scripts
Usecases for building your own tools
After his class you will be able to:
Build your own automated reports
Send data to Google sheet and visualize it in Data studio
Understanding how to combine datasets to new insights
Reduce your hours in Excel
Schedule tasks on your machine (or a virtual)
This is a basic course for beginners (“R 101”). It is for anyone who is curious about applying R in their daily work to automate and reduce work force by using the build-in tools and libraries. It will however be beneficial to have played around in R before starting the class.
A computer with R, and R studio installed
A Google account (preferably with full access to at least one Google Analytics account)
