Google Tag Manager (GTM) is the most commonly used Tag Management System (TMS), but there is still a learning curve to start to use it to its full potential. This session will go from examining the steps to set up GTM on your site, through what a data layer is and how data taxonomies are leveraged, to pushing that data through to various tools and systems.
As GTM and Google Analytics are so closely aligned, there will be an coverage of Google Analytics deployment within the course, as well as looking at more generic marketing pixel deployments.
This session is ideal for users with zero experience in TMS’s, up to people who have GTM on their sites but are looking to get that additional bit of functionality and value out of it. This session will focus on driving real value from your GTM setup, and whether your an analyst, marketer or web developer, there will be plenty to learn.
