Venue plan – Rooms, Layout and how it works!
As you must know by now we have moved venues. Our new home is 1 Drummond Gate in Pimlico and we have the luxury of a much bigger space. Not only this, there are different rooms for you to perform your excellent sessions!
Each room is slightly different in layout and capacity. Layout wise you’ll notice on the session planner (below) cabaret, theatre, u-shape and boardroom. Do not worry cabaret and theatre doesn’t mean you will need to be flamboyant *jazz hands* it’s just how the seats are arranged! But if this encourages the born entertainers of you….well bring it on!
Now, one of the hardest decisions at the start of each MeasureCamp is which session slot to claim. Do you aim to get it out of the way early or wait until late in the day when you have a bit more confidence. Have you got the chops to think your session will back out the 50 seater or are you hoping for a more intimate affair. But if you wait too long to decide, all the best slots ….that one you had your eye on are taken.

However the switch in venue and new layout has levelled the playing field a bit between the newbies and more experienced Measurecampers. Below is the session grid for MeasureCamp IV. Timeslots are the same as ever and the capacity and layout for each room are marked allowing you to decide which one is right for you. All rooms have presentation facilities and flipcharts with the exception of the Garden – there you are literally out in the garden.
Sadly (for MeasureCamp veterans at least), there are no rooms with beanbags this time but we are hoping the funky garden space makes up for that!
You’ll notice the rooms for MeasureCamp IV have been named after our sponsors, just one of the ways we like to say thank you.
Lastly but importantly, the main room will be videotaped! Thanks to Calltracks who have gone above and beyond as a sponsor. For the first time, if you choose room with the biggest capacity (henceforth known as the Calltracks room) you will be speaking to more than just the people in the room. We expect this room will mostly be used for formal presentations which are more appropriate for taping.
Please do advise us if you plan to grab a session in this room and have content that is not for public consumption, we can have the video switched off if need be.

Keely will have some printed on the day, as well as few other handy signs. And we will be publishing the session grid online once all the sessions are added in the morning.
