So that was MeasureCamp

We had high hopes for MeasureCamp and were delighted when these hopes were not only met but surpassed. The most common question by the end of the day was – when can we do this again? As said many times, MeasureCamp is about the attendees, so for it to be such a great event, we must thank everyone was attended and participated in the spirit of an unconference.

We have uploaded various details from MeasureCamp to this website. You can view

If you are aware of any others, please share links and we will add to the website.

Special thanks go to all the speakers who took on the risk of leading a session. Many of these people have not spoken in front of a group of peers previously, they all did a brilliant job and we hope this gives them confidence in their ability to do so again in the future. Thanks also to our sponsors without whom we could not have held the event – Calltracks, iJento, Tag Commander, Webtrends, Propel London and Mozilla.

Congratulations go to the MeasureCamp prize winners (hope you like your mugs):

  • Best presentation – Charles Meaden
  • Best leader of a discussion – Rachel Sweeney
  • Tip of the day – Phil Pearce
  • Best tweeted description of MeasureCamp – Andrew Fielding
  • Best contributor – Sibel Akcekaya (after somehow winning Rock, Paper, Scissors against Steven Lo-Presti without knowing the rules)

Finally, as a gesture of thanks for his hard work before, during and after the event, if anyone would like to support Peter as he runs (slowly jogs) the Royal Parks half marathon in a couple of weeks, donations will be gratefully received. The money raised (along with £90 from the swear jar) will go to Tommy’s, a charity supporting research into miscarriages, still births & premature births.
