MeasureCamp is Back!!!

At the end of the first MeasureCamp, I was only being asked one question – when can we do this again? Bowing to popular demand, MeasureCamp is back, returning on Sat 16th Feb. The venue and event timings are the same and we are also not going to risk messing with the lunch menu. Most importantly, MeasureCamp will once again be an unconference event with everyone attending encouraged to participant, be involved in discussions and ideally lead a session themselves.

We had around 110 people attending the first MeasureCamp and the main room was pretty full (we will work on two lunch lines to minimise that issue). Assuming that is solved, we hope to fit a few more people in the venue – there are plenty of rooms for sessions after all. Tickets will be released in batches again so make sure you are getting our newsletter & following #MeasureCamp on twitter so you get to attend.

While we are accepting feedback on this, a significant change will be fewer preplanned sessions than the first MeasureCamp. This is line with the traditional principles of an unconference where there are actually no sessions preplanned. Instead we expect a fair few of the attendees to prepare a discussion in advance, bring it with them and claim a slot on the day.
