Merging GA data with other data sources

I would like to give a short demo on the importance of merging web analytics data with data that companies have available in internal systems (CRM/ERP etc.).Luckily, this doesn’t have to include any horrendously expensive Business Intelligence solutions. No tracking code changes required either. Merging data is actually quite simple and effective, all you need is Excel (with PowerPivot enabled to avoid slow and dummy LOOKUPs).In 15 minutes, I would like to demonstrate how to:
- Download raw and unsampled data from GA
- Merge GA data with other data sources
- Calculate 2 simple and quick things:
- “True” ROI for traffic channels based on Net Profit (evaluate campaigns by net profit — not sales revenue).
- Detailed conversion rates for products / categories / any other dimensions.
