Measure your waistband and leave room for cookies
As mentioned in my previous blog post about what to expect at Measurecamp. I didn’t really emphasise that when you come to a Measurecamp event you get scrummy food throughout the day. Previous attendees will be able to testify, is it worth considering the sort of waistband you will be wearing. I shall be providing Measurecamp tshirts….they are roomy for a reason.
I’ll be there at 9am to greet you and be waving you through to the main area. for breakfast. There are two very swanky hot drinks machines. For those of you who love a cappuccino! We will have a selection of breakfast treats there will be bacon and egg rolls for sure and I’m sure something to satisfy every taste.

At 12.40pm it is lunch time to deal with the larger amount of numbers we have bento boxes to serve you lunch. Food options will be varied, hearty Chicken casserole, beef strogenof, potato wedges, pasta dishes and salads. There is also dessert! I’m quietly confident about the yumminess of the mid-day meal because any venue who boasts their own food blog with recipes must know their stuff http://www.etcvenues.co.uk/foodblog

Giant Jenga! In my experience when you make games bigger they suddenly become far more appealing. Break the ice during networking with the challenge of a cheeky game of connect four, obviously let your new contact win….he hmmm…. that’s what I do 😉
15.20 is afternoon sugar hit time – *Insert joke about cookies here* This time we are having cookies and cake selection. There will be drinks available during the day.

We finish up at 17.30pm and then it’s off to the after party for an alcoholic beverage or eight at The Grosvenor (about a 5 minute walk away) We will be sharing the pub with other patrons but the bar is free. To prove you are a measurecamper, please keep your name badge.
See you all Saturday!
